The year is 2137; floods have wiped out humanity. The power vacuum left behind has sent the entirety of the animal kingdom into a frenzied grapple for power.
An unassuming gar eats a radioactive marble, and realizes that they can now do something no other fish can do. By summoning a protective spherical shield, they can survive and thrive on land. With this gift, they now have a responsibility: ensure their mutated genes are passed on, such that the fish will inherit the Earth...

dev update 1: I'm currently working on the next demo release, which I'm planning to have out by the end of February. After that, releases will probably slow down as I focus less on implementing core features and more an making content that'll be in the full game
